What Do You Do With an Idea

“What Do You Do With an Idea” written by Kobi Yamada and illustrated by Mae Besom, is a book made for an age group of 6-9-year-olds. The book is about this kid who thinks of an idea (He saw an egg) then it started following him. But he was scared that people would make fun of his idea. So he kept it to himself. But he thought there was something magical about his idea and it made him feel happy. It wanted food, it wanted to play and wanted attention. Finally, he showed it to everyone and everyone thought it was silly and he believed them, but then he realized that it doesn’t matter what others think. It did many things like making a house. Then one day his idea grow and flew to the sky. One of the things I liked about this book is it’s illustration. If you didn’t realize every time the pages got more colourful. In my opinion illustrations are second most important thing about the picture books since one of the main reason why kids enjoy it. Another reason why I liked this book is because it tells kids to not lesson to what other people think about something they like or dislike which is very important and crustal to know when you’re little and when you grow up. Overall I liked the book and I would enjoy reading it if I was little.
